When I opened The BRAologist just over a year ago, I wasn't thinking about awards.
I simply wanted to create a space where women could access expert bra fitting in a relaxed, private environment, and leave feeling more comfortable, more confident and truly supported.
So I'm absolutely delighted to share that The BRAologist has been named a finalist in the 2026 Muddy Stilettos Awards, in the Sussex Fashion & Interiors category.
To be recognised alongside some of Sussex's most-loved independent businesses is an incredible honour, particularly so early in our journey.
Bra fitting might not immediately spring to mind when people think about fashion, but I firmly believe that what sits underneath your clothes has a huge impact on how you feel wearing them.
Every day, I meet women who have spent years putting up with uncomfortable bras, slipping straps, wires that dig in, or simply feeling that nothing fits quite right anymore.
Whether it's due to menopause, weight changes, asymmetry, surgery, pregnancy or just the natural changes that come with life, many women arrive frustrated and leave feeling relieved.
Because a bra fitting isn't really about the numbers on the label.
It's about:
Independent businesses are nothing without the people who support them.
Every appointment booked, every recommendation to a friend, every review and every kind word has helped The BRAologist grow from an idea into an award-finalist business.
This recognition belongs just as much to the wonderful women who have trusted me with their fitting journey as it does to me.

Reaching the finals of the Muddy Stilettos Awards is something I'll always be proud of.
Not because of the title itself, but because it represents something much bigger.
It represents a year of helping women feel better in their bodies.
A year of conversations, confidence boosts and countless "I can't believe how comfortable this is!" moments.
And that's what The BRAologist has always been about.
