ASSESS BY EYE
A no tape measure bra fitting uses a visual approach instead of relying on numerical measurements to find the best fit. This technique focuses on ensuring comfort and support by trying out different styles and sizes. It helps to understand how each option fits your body's specific shape and curves, allowing for a more personaliSed and comfortable fit.

nO nUDITY
Our approach is designed to provide a fitting experience that eliminates nudity, ensuring that you feel comfortable and respected throughout your fitting. We understand the importance of personal privacy, during the fitting, you will need to undress down to your bra. During your appointment our fitter will help fasten the bras and adjust straps.

Fitting FAQs
Have Question? We are here to help
Why don’t you use a tape measure?
Tape measure fittings provide two measurements: the full bust and the ribcage. However, the first problem is that tape measures are rigid, while bras are made of elastic material. The second problem is that these measurements do not consider the shape of the breast or other body factors like back length and shoulder width. Thirdly, and most importantly, relying solely on measurements ignores personal preference and comfort.
Additionally, it's important to note that despite the number and letter combinations used by the bra industry, the same size in two bras can often differ.
Can I just come for a fitting?
Certainly, there is no requirement or commitment to buy from The BRAologist, but we hope you adore the bras we discover for you. If you have a specific request, we're delighted to assist wherever possible.
How often should I get fitted?
It is advised to have a professional bra fitting every 6 to 12 months, as your body may change over time due to factors like weight fluctuations, hormonal shifts, pregnancy, or aging. A professional fitting guarantees that you are wearing the right size, enhancing comfort, support, and overall fit.
Is there a charge for a fitting?
Our fee for each fitting is £15, this covers a 45-minute one on one consultation with a professionally trained bra fitter.
What’s the cancellation policy?
While we will make every effort to accommodate any change requests up to 24 hours in advance (we understand that life can be unpredictable!). For any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior, you will still be charged and no refund will be issued. As a small independent business, filling last-minute bookings can be quite difficult.
Can I bring a friend, partner, or family member?
Certainly, you can bring someone along with you. If they are also interested in a fitting, please ensure to schedule separate appointments.
How confident do you feel with where the company is going?
We will begin in this chapter by dealing with some general quantum mechanical ideas. Some of the statements will be quite precise, others only partially precise. It will be hard to tell you as we go along which is which, but by the time you have finished the rest of the book, you will understand in looking back which parts hold up and which parts were only explained roughly.
Do you stock Post Surgery bras?
At the moment we don't carry post surgery bras but please do get in touch as we want to help where we can and if there's a need we will look to add to our offering.
Are you LGBTQAI+ friendly?
Yes, we are happy and keen to help whoever needs our services, while we currently don't stock transgender specific brands at the moment, we are keen to explore and navigate the bras on offer. Contact us and we can discuss in more detail
Do you do first bra fittings for teens?
Age is not a problem, however at the moment we don't stock many small sizes, if you've developed quickly and think you might be a C cup + then do book an appointment.
A parent or Guardian should accompany under the age of 16.
How accessible is the BRAologist?
As our fitting room is in a house, it's not step-free, while it is on the ground floor, there is 10 wide steps from street level to the front door.
