The Great Bra Sizing Mismatch is an independent report based on 10 months of professional bra fittings carried out in East Sussex. It reveals just how widespread bra mis-sizing is in the UK, why it happens, and what changes when fit, materials and design work properly together.

Based on 10 months of professional fittings, the report found:

  • Only 6% of women were wearing the correct bra size

  • Over 70% were fitted into a larger cup size

  • 50% required a smaller band for proper support

  • Women in 40+ band sizes experienced the largest fitting corrections

These patterns were consistent across age and body type.
